Sophia Escheu

At Speedinvest, Sophia is on the lookout for next generation technologies tackling the highest polluting industrial sectors.

Before joining our Climate Tech and Industrial Tech team in Munich, she gained experience at several startups, as well as in strategy consulting. She is also the co-founder of amelia, a personal growth accelerator for female young professionals. 

Sophia studied in Mannheim, San Diego, Copenhagen and Munich and holds a Master of Science in Management & Technology from the Technical University of Munich and the Center for Digital Technology Management. The past few years, she has immersed herself in studying the complexities of climate change and become convinced that transitioning to a low-carbon, sustainable economy requires new technological innovations. 

Outside of work, she is an adventurous spirit who feels her speediest (no pun intended) when exploring new countries, activities, restaurants, and hobbies with her loved ones.
