Varun Rekhi

Varun is a Fintech investor based in our London office, focusing broadly on Growth Markets in the MENAP region. Before joining Speedinvest, Varun invested with the Octopus Ventures First Cheque Fund and with Mubadala Capital in London. 

Originally from New Delhi, Varun brings global capital markets experience from PwC New York and JP Morgan Singapore. He has advised on the equity story and IPO readiness of VC-backed firms such as UiPath, Soho House and Oyo Rooms among others. 

Varun holds an MBA from London Business School and a BA in Econometrics from New York University. He received a high commendation from LBS in 2023 for his leadership in Venture Capital and continues to work on broadening the access to the venture ecosystem in Europe.
