Tom is a Partner at Speedinvest, where he leads the Growth investment team. He focuses on backing exceptional founders in the financial technology and digital assets space. 

His portfolio includes investments in leading European scale-ups such as Bitpanda, Lemonway, Flowdesk, Yokoy, Pliant, and Tuum, where he also serves as an active board member.

Before joining Speedinvest, Tom co-founded a banking startup in Berlin and spent several years in investment banking. Most recently, he was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley in London, advising financial technology clients on a wide range of capital markets and M&A transactions.

Tom studied Economics, Banking, and Finance at the PhD level at Witten/Herdecke University.

Born and raised in Hamburg, he enjoys boxing, training at the gym, running, and traveling to new and far-flung destinations in his free time.
