As part of Speedinvest’s Climate Tech and Industrial Tech team, Namratha invests in incredibly ambitious European companies in the sector working to undo global warming.
Prior to venture investing, she spent a decade as a software engineer and product manager having worked across the stack at Intel, HP, Dell-EMC, and Expedia.
Coming from India, she developed an early appreciation for the ways our planet is at once fragile and resilient. Over the last few years, she found an excuse to accelerate her learnings in climate change and climate solutions necessary to build a more sustainable, inclusive, and equitable future. She believes that we need both degrowth ideas and venture-scale technical solutions to solve the climate crisis.
Namratha holds an MBA from London Business School, a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Clemson University, US, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics from Osmania University, India.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, being outdoors, traveling, climbing mountains, trying new restaurants, and attempting to learn new languages. An avid backpacker, Namratha has traveled to over 50 countries and has lived in Boston, Boulder, Clemson, Gran Canaria, Hyderabad, London, Rouen, Venice, and Vienna.
