Laurens W. A. Asamoah

Laurens is a Fundraising Analyst at Speedinvest, working closely with our CEO to manage fundraising and LP relations.

He began his academic journey with a Bachelor's degree in Violoncello Solo Performance from the Lisbon Music University. After graduating, he pursued an MSc in International Studies, focusing on international management and relations, global governance, innovation, and digital healthcare frameworks. During his undergraduate studies, Laurens co-founded Resyl Health, a Lisbon-based digital health startup.

Prior to joining Speedinvest's Capital Formation team, Laurens worked as a Founder Associate at a hybrid care startup and in the investment team of a leading European healthtech venture capital firm.

Laurens is fluent in German, English, and Portuguese. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, exploring new cultures, and indulging in his passion for history and classical music.
